Rick Markham is a Principal Data Migration Architect with Bridge Atlantic and has spent more than twenty years moving enterprise data into SAP. For fourteen years he was SAP North America's Data Migration Lead, the person SAP placed on its largest greenfield S/4HANA programs to set the migration strategy, stand up the tooling and team, and carry every object through mock cycles to go-live. In his final months at SAP he joined the Data Management and Landscape Transformation (DMLT) organization, extending that greenfield practice into brownfield conversions and landscape consolidation.
His programs include CHS Inc., one of the largest SAP prime implementations in North America, where he led the migration of JD Edwards and Maximo into S/4HANA for Oil & Gas (80+ objects) through a December 2025 go-live. He has also led data for the S/4HANA transformations at ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips and Phillips 66, a seven-system material master consolidation at Bio-Rad, and a 250-million-record PeopleSoft to SAP migration at Lockheed Martin.
His methodology comes from the Syniti lineage of Cransoft, DSP, ADM and ADMM, which he has worked in since joining BackOffice Associates in 2007. He builds every migration around acceptance gates the business can sign: profiling before each wave, approved mappings, pre-load and post-load validation, and reconciliation down to the record. He also brings AI-assisted accelerators for profiling, mapping and validation, including product ownership of the iMigrate Pro platform.
Rick joined Bridge Atlantic, a preferred talent partner to Syniti, as a senior architect who helps the firm put its strongest data migration talent in front of clients like Syniti. Today he serves as a Data Migration Architect on Lockheed Martin RMS's manufacturing execution modernization, a large Syniti-led program and his third Lockheed Martin engagement.
